Pharus Maritime was established in 2017 by Mr. Kristian Sorgenfri Hansen as a result of his desire to create a company which offers advisory and brokerage services fully in line with his visions and values. Since its conception Pharus Maritime has continued to service its clients to the highest standards and continue to grow the client base across industry sectors.

Who is behind Pharus Maritime
Founder & owner
Mr. Kristian Sorgenfri Hansen
Having learned the art of ship brokering at the renown brokerage firm Maersk Broker in his early years, Mr. Hansen quickly developed a strong foothold in the maritime industry. Already as a trainee he concluded his first ship sale of an MR tanker and followed that up over the years by concluding several transactions across vessel segments for a world wide clientele. After working with both Bulk Carriers and Tankers in his initial years in the industry, Mr. Hansen later decided to focus on the renewable, offshore and heavy transport segments. During his years in the industry he has been around the world building a strong network of industry interests, performed speaking engagements and brokered transactions across contract types with clients from across the world.
Mr. Hansen is an active person competing in endurance sports, travels to explore new cultures and has a passion for protecting and repairing the ocean environment, where he works with a number of organisations to help clean up plastic pollution and in general seeks to inspire others to live a more environmentally friendly and compassionate lifestyle.
